The Kent Historical Society & Museum works closely with the third grade teachers in the district to help students learn about and love their local history. During the winter months, the Director of KHS, Julie Kenworthy, takes artifacts into the classrooms for a lesson on being an historian. Then, in the spring the students go on a history field trip and visit the museum. KHS looks forward to the events with the third graders every year!
