Please join us on Monday to honor Kent area Veterans. The events of the day will include a luncheon at the Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center, Veterans Day Ceremony at the PARTA parking deck and lastly a reception and tour at the Kent Historical Society & Museum.
Luncheon for veterans and guests at Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center, South DePeyster at Erie Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kent Veterans Day Observance will take place at Kent Central Gateway/PARTA parking deck, Erie Street at Haymaker Parkway. Speakers include Jack Amrhein, for City of Kent, and Roger Di Paolo, for Kent Historical Society at 2 PM.
Following the Veterans Day ceremony the Kent Historical Society will host a reception for viewing of "Kent and The Great War" exhibit. KHS is located at 237 E. Main Street, Kent, Ohio.
